Jorge Prado has been a holeshot machine his whole life and Eli Tomac has now experienced his starting prowess first hand. Speaking to Swapmoto, Eli Tomac says he thinks Jorge Prado is the world’s greatest starter after practicing with him in the off-season.
Anaheim one winner, Tomac, was asked if his new teammates podium at A1 surprised him: “Not after what I saw in the pre-season, but I’m also surprised because it was Anaheim one, you know, he hasn’t had a ton of supercross experience in racing. So yeah, I was actually surprised that he got a podium, but the speed I saw leading up to Anaheim. No, I’m not surprised he got on the podium because he is fast. He’s very fast.”
“And the starts are incredible. I literally think he is the world’s greatest starter. .I don’t know what happened in the first start, but that second was pretty. Yeah. I mean, he’s always, always there. And when we practice, he’s basically hole shotting all the time. It’s kind of ridiculous how good of a starter it is.”
