While fans and media can have their opinion, the riders can also have theirs and, just like Eli Tomac a couple of weeks ago to Steve Matthes, Chase Sexton has hit back at a fan online who suggested, he, Vialle and Prado where quitters.
Sexton replied: “You probably should not speak on a topic when you have no idea on what goes on behind the scenes and the ins and outs of the situation. We give our lives to this sport so it would be pretty stupid to “quit” for no reason.”
Sexton is expected to be back for the SMX playoffs and is in the team USA MXON team, meaning four huge races coming up for the rider that just saw Jett Lawrence take his number one plate outdoors.
A motivated Sexton has already said how important SMX is to him this year, add in the MXoN, and Sexton has four hugely important races over the next six weeks with two titles on the line, and we know that when he is feeling the flow, the speed is eye-wateringly fast.
There will be no quit in him.
