250cc race results: AMA Pro Motocross RD11 – Budds Creek – Deegan champ!

Race One: Haiden Deegan ran down teammate Cole Davies to take the lead after Tom Vialle crashed out of the lead early, leaving Deegan to clinch the 250 title with a win, even Jo Shimoda had no answer when he got to second as Davies showed his real speed outdoors taking a fantastic third just a week after fighting for a couple of points at Unadilla!

Deegan said: “When I want to win, I win, that’s what I do. Back to back outdoor champ, it’s a lot of work, mentally this is the gnarliest sport, I was going through it.”

*Update 🚨 Haiden Deegan and Jo Shimoda have been penalized 1 race position and 5 championship points for their red flag incident in moto 1. Cole Davies will inherit the moto 1 win.

Race Two:  Haiden Deegan ran away with the second moto despite another red flag, this time for Julien Beaumer who went down hard. Jo Shimoda took second but Deegan ended his 250 motocross career emphatically with a title and the overall win!

Deegan said: “I told my mechanic, watch this, I am going to sprint and kick their ass, and I did!”
