Jorge Prado was conspicuous by his absence at the SMX media day this week with Jason Weigandt saying Prado has had some “bumps on the road,” as he adjusts to Supercross and the Kawasaki.
Weege said:
“We did not get Jorge Prado this week. There are some rumours of some crashes at the test track for Prado. It is early days in Supercross development for him, and just from some of the scuttlebutt I’m hearing, it has not been super smooth.”
“That sounds terrible, but at the same time, if you really step back, that’s probably… crashing is never good – maybe that’s an exceptionally bad case. But I do think that hearing early days of Prado starting his full-time Supercross career, there’s been some bumps in the road, the big picture? That is almost what you expect to hear.”
In some positive news, Lewis Phillips has tweeted the rumours of Prado having a fractured wrist or any broken bones as, “false.”
From what I know, Jorge Prado does not have a wrist injury or any broken bones. Those rumors are false.

Let’s hope Jorge is fully healthy when he is lining up at A1 for his debut on the Kawasaki and ready to show the world what he’s got.
UPDATE: RacerX have since confirmed that Prado has had a crash but no broken bones and the Spaniard is expected to get back on the bike next week.
“I had a crash last week and hit my head and my arm,” said Prado.
