Cooper Webb has had further clarification of his injuries since Chase Sexton landed on his head in Detroit, after the defending champions didn’t jump a rhythm section.
Webb said: “Quick update for you guys. Ended up with a bone contusion to the shoulder and fracture of the 2nd metacarpal. Overall I got off easy. I get paid to race, so I’ll see you in Indy.”
Webb has looked better in recent races as he adapts further to the KTM and, after almost winning Daytona and being in the battle in Detroit, but he will be showing his grtty character in a different way this weekend in Indy.
