With Eli Tomac struggling at the back end of the top ten Chase Sexton was given a golden opportunity to make up a ten point deficit on the championship leader at Indy, and all was going well with Sexton looking fast at his home race, pressurising Ken Roczen and looking determined to take the lead and the win – until it all went wrong again!
Sexton endoed unto a table-top and went down hard, eventually finishing 10th and being put a lap down. Despite all that, Sexton is still only 13 points back – but the mistakes need to stop if he wants a say in this title.
