Results and highlights: Roczen wins Indy!

Ken Roczen took a sensational win on the HEP Suzuki, holding Justin Barcia at bay in the final thrilling laps for a huge victory that puts Suzuki back on top of the supercross world!

Roczen took the holsehot and led the entire race, gaining a three second lead over Webb and Barcia when second plac Chase Sexton went down hard chasing the Suzuki.

An emotional and delighted Roczen held a kickstart and said: “This was such an amazing race, I can’t even talk right now. I had to grit it out all the way to the end, the track was brutal and Justin was coming. I got screwed a little bit by lappers but I jsut held on, I said ‘just one more lap, just one more lap.’ I have to give it up to all my guys in my corner, they worked their asses off and so have I, it shows that it pays off. I ahd the start tonight, that was huge on a track like that. I’m at a loss of words right now. I should probably get a kickstart tattoo!”

Sexton remounted gingerly and ended up getting lapped on his way to tenth as Eli Tomac, who struggled all day, took eighth after a bad start. Webb and Tomac were tied at the top of the championship until Craig made the move on Eli giving Cooper a 1 point lead in the series!
