Andrea Bonacorsi who recently stepped up to race the MXGP World Championship decided to wildcard round three of the Italian Championship as he continues to adapt to the bigger bike.
In the first moto he tried to get into a rut that Alessandro Lupino was already in which saw both of them hit the deck.
It had big implications for Lupino as he was left with bike damaged and had to DNF losing big points in the championship chase. Bonacorsi was able to remount and win the moto.
