An angry Jason Anderson gave Alex Ray both barrels after Ray landed into the side of Anderson and wiping them both out in the heat race. The fastest qualifier Anderson was coming from last after stalling at start when the gate dropped and he still almost qualified despite the crash but the time he spent shouting at Ray cost him valuable seconds!
Anderson won the LCQ running times as quick as Roczen’s winning heat race before coming through the pack to third in the main and then apologised to Ray for getting in his face, saying that what Ray did was wrong he may have over-reacted in the heat of the moment.
Anderson of course has previous experience of this situation when he was violently knocked out after winning a moto at the MXoN at Maggiora, so given his circumstances in the race and what happened in Italy, you can understand why he was livid!
