“They had been stringing us along.” The team’s co-owner, Mike Grondahl, talks about Geico Honda’s exit from US supercross and motocross and he doesn’t hold back on Gypsy Tales.

Talking about the value of running a team from a sponsors perspective, Mike said: “Geico had brought us back a report that said we gave them 48 million dollars in marketing value. Now that’s not cash in the bank but that’s the value they would had had to spend to get that much.” And he reckons Stewart’s marketing value of his career to companies could have gave been worth a billion!
