Timed practice results: MXGP & MX2 RD9 – Spain

In the MX2 timed practice session it looked like Simon Laengenfelder put in the fastest lap time but he got docked two positions for not respecting a waved yellow flag. That dropped Laengenfelder down to third and meant Tom Vialle went quickest on his Factory KTM ahead of fellow French rider, Thibault Benistant.
In MXGP, the times couldn’t be much closer! Jorge Prado put in the fastest lap from Tim Gajser and Maxime Renaux but only 4.7 seconds split the top twenty-five riders!
