In the MX2 World Championship qualifying race it was Tom Vialle who took the holeshot and led every lap. The French rider is starting to look a lot more comfortable on his new Factory KTM machine and a qualifying win will see him heading into race day feeling confident.
Jago Geerts was behind Vialle the whole race keeping it close but looked to settle for second in the late stages – a start will be key for tomorrow as the track is quite tricky to overtake on.
Simon Laengenfelder passed Thibualt Benistant to finish a lonely third while Liam Everts rode well to finish seventh on his Diga Procross KTM.
