Jeffrey Herlings went fastest right at the end of the MXGP session just when it looked like Kay de Wolf would be on pole – it was a Dutch 1-2 with Lucas Coenen third fastest – a very fast top three.
Tim Gajser was fourth fastest with Pauls Jonass fifth at his home GP.
In MX2, Valerio Lata set the pace on his Petronas HRC Honda as he looks to be enjoying the fast track. Sacha Coenen was second fastest with Janis Resulis third.
Triumph riders, Camden McLellem and Guillem Farres were fourth and fifth quickest.
