Saad Soulimani secures MX2 GP ride

So far this year, Saad Soulimani has been rocking a privateer setup and has raced selected EMX250 championship and MX2 GP races. However, it’s believed that he has secured an MX2 World Championship ride for the rest of the 2023 season.

The Young Motion powered by Resa Yamaha team have been on the look out for a new rider since Raf Meuwissen parted ways with the team and we believe they’ve chosen Soulimani.

Soulimani raced the French MX2 GP at Villars sous Ecot and finished 18-19 in the moto’s so he is certainly capable of scoring World Championship points. It’s thought that he’ll race most of the European rounds left of the calendar as well as racing the final rounds of the French Elite series. He’ll make his debut with the team this weekend in Germany but then with the series heading to Indonesia he’ll have plenty of time to test before his next GP appearance.

The team haven’t yet confirmed the move but the official news is expected tomorrow.
