Ryan Alexanderson to end the season racing in Europe

Young Aussie rider, Ryan Alexanderson was a rookie in the MX2 Australian championship this year and finished eighth in the standings. Now that the Aussie MX season is over, Alexanderson has been given the opportunity to end the season racing in Europe.

The WZ KTM racing team are currently down to one MX2 rider in the form of Oriol Oliver after injuries to Mike Gwerder and Mikkel Haarup. As a result of that the team have decided to look to Australia and Ryan Alexanderson is currently in Germany testing the bike.

Alexanderson will race the final two rounds of the ADAC MX Masters in the Youngsters Cup class, the first of which is taking place this weekend in Holzgerlingen. There is also the possibility that the Aussie could race either the EMX250 series or MX2 World Championship at Matterley Basin depending on how he performs in Germany.

The team will get a close look at him during the end of the season and if he impresses could over him a fulltime ride for the 2024 season.
