Roczen on A1 – happy

A satisfied Ken Roczen was content with 5th on his debut for Suzuki even saying he was just doubling his way around the track and didn’t care!

All the doubters about the Suzuki and Roczen’s ability to compete up front on the the kick-start machine were silenced on night one of the series with Roczen starting third, temporarily passing Eli Tomac for second and being in the mix up front all night long on a treacherous track. Proof again that Roczen can ride anything.

Kenny said: “Well, boys and girls. A1 is a wrap and I can’t even explain how happy I am to come out of there in one piece. I’m sure everyone was in the same boat but feeling like a fish out of water is probably an understatement 😆 I hope no one watched my first couple of laps in the main as i bounced my head off the bar pad what felt like about 15 times.. 🤷🏼‍♂️

“Either way, i am totally ok to get away with a 5th place for the first round. I pretty much doubled my way around the entire track and i was fine with it 😆 we are working hard to keep building and we are taking it one race at a time.Seeing a full stadium for the first round was radical too🤘🏽❤️ Anyway… Peace ✌🏽
