Jett Lawrence looked set to go pole on hs final lap when he tipped over with Cooper Webb behind him in the final turn! That left Webb on pole and he did a big whip to celebrate, only for Hunter Lawrence to put it on pole in his final lap! Chase Sexton, with a new mechanic this week, was fifth despite a fall.

A disbelieving Hunter said:”Maybe there is something wrong with the tower because I was just as surprised! I knew it was a good lap and I looked and Jett was rolling the start straight and I told him to look at the tower! I suck in qualifying so this one will go right in the centre piece of the house.”
