After signing with Triumph Racing for his first full factory ride and the new brand in the sport, Camden McLellan was having a good season and even got his first MX2 GP podium.

However, unfortunately, the mud of Agueda caught McLellan out and he ended up injured breaking his fibula.

The good news is that it was a clean break and he has already got a target of when he’ll return to the GP’s if everything goes according to plan.

McLellan provided the following update below:

“How’s it going, everyone? I just wanted to hop on here and give everyone a quick update on what is going on with me. As most of you know, I broke my fibula on Saturday in Portugal. I flew back to Belgium and got surgery on Monday evening. I am sitting here with the leg elevated, just the usual stuff, trying to recover to hopefully be back on the mend soon. Back walking, cycling and running, slowly”.

“It’ll be a slow process but luckily it’s not too bad. There’s no major damage in the leg. We are looking at four to five weeks out and the plan is to be back in Indonesia. We’ll see how everything goes but I’ll keep you all updated. Thanks for the support and hopefully see you back at the track soon”.
