Race One: Courtney Duncan was on fire in the opening moto as she quickly got into the lead and pulled clear at the front. It is nice to see the Kiwi end the season on a real high after a tough start to her season.
Fontanesi was riding well in second before Guillen caught and passed her but the Italian didn’t give up making Guillen work for the second but the Spaniard was able to hold onto the spot.
Van Drunen rode a sensible race in fourth and has a thirteen points advantage over Guillen heading into the final moto of the year.
Charli Cannon was solid and finished fifth ahead of Larissa Papenmeier. Lucy Barker ended up thirteenth.
Race Two: It was different conditions in moto two after overnight watering and ripped. It created a sticky and tricky race track but Fontanesi was flying at the front. It looked like the Italian had the win in the bag but Guillen who was second started to get caught by Duncan and then put the hammer down.
The Spaniard make up a lot of time to Fontanesi and passed her – the Italian then crashed and allowed Duncan up to second but it was Guillen who took the overall.
Cannon rode well for fourth with Lotte van Drunen just staying out of trouble to finish fifth and take the title. What a future the Dutch female sensation has!
