Race One: Just like last year, conditions are wild in Agueda – mud! Liam Everts was leading the way but then crashed on the first lap – followed by two more crashes!

That allowed Sacha Coenen to get to the lead and he had a massive lead but then went over the bars. That saw Adamo in the lead but he had De Wolf for company and Längenfelder as all three were close. As Längenfelder started to attack de Wolf, that allowed Adamo to get away and the Italian ended up comfortably bringing it home for the win.

Meanwhile, De Wolf and Längenfelder were going at it the whole race and on the final lap, after de Wolf made a mistake the German was able to take second! The championship battle is well and truly on.

Quentin Prugnieres didn’t mind the tough conditions as he finished a superb fourth after Mathis Valin had a small tip over but he still salvaged sixth with Rick Elzinga strong for fifth.

Liam Everts was able to finish eleventh despite all the crashes.

Race Two: Coenen had the early lead and was riding well on his Factory KTM. Adamo was sat in second and never let the gap get over thee seconds. The Italian then caught and passed Coenen to win – the perfect weekend going 1-1-1 for his fifth GP overall win.

Coenen stayed up right and brought home second. At the first corner, Längenfelder had got a good start and then went down. The German was on a real charge as he came from last to fourth and was right on de Wolf on the last lap! The world champion did hold on for third though.

Valin had a strong ride for fifth on his GP return ahead of Cas Valk.

There’s now only ten points between the top three riders – an exciting time in the championship chase.
