Race results: EMX2T – Valk perfect at Loket

Cas Valk won the opening EMX2T race at a slippery Loket after passing Pedersen and Kovar to move his way into the lead before dominating. Toendel got a terrible start but came from outside the top fifteen to get himself into second on the last lap to keep his hopes alive of the overall win. Tom Macuks was another rider that had a bad start but recovered to fourth.

Conditions were totally different in race two after overnight thunderstorms making the track wet and even more slippery. The conditions didn’t bother Valk though who grabbed the holeshot and totally ran away at the front. Behind him, Kovar was looking good in second and to get a podium but then with two laps to go his bike blew up – a real shame for the Czech fans! Yuri Quarti was promoted to second who was enjoying the damp conditions. For third, Marek and Toendel battled but the young Dutch talent held on.
