Race One: Mathis Valin led every lap in hard pack conditions but the French talent looked comfortable and never looked back. He’s the new EMX250 champion with a moto to spare and it was his team mate, Benjamin Garib who finished second!

Garib came under some pressure in the last couple of laps from Valk but he held on – a dream race for BUD Kawasaki.

Ivano van Erp made a pass on Nico Greutmann for fourth. Valerio Lata got a bad start but could only make a couple of passes to finish sixth, he didn’t look comfortable.

Congratulations to BUD Kawasaki and Mathis Valin on the title!

Race Two: Lata took a better start in race two and held the early led. The Italian was looking much better on day two but Valin wanted to win the title in style and put in a superb pass on the Italian to take the lead.

Lata didn’t go away and continued to hound the champion but Valin despite feeling sick took an impressive win – 1-1 to win the title in style. What a season he has had!

Gavin Towers rode well for third in what is likely to be his final EMX250 race.

Max Werner finished fourth on his JM Honda ahead of the impressive Alfio Pulvirenti. Despite a couple of small crashes Valk was able to make a couple of late race passes for sixth to secure a podium.
