Race One: It didn’t take Ricardo Bauer long to get to the front after a good start and he just controlled things at the front of the field. Anytime anyone closed the gap he had what was required to respond.
Liam Bruneau had a strong ride to finish in third ahead of the impressive Levi Townley who got a bad start and then a mistake dropped him outside the top ten but he charged through to third.
Gennaro Utceh was trying to pass Bruneau for second as he was having a great race but then had a pretty big crash – thankfully it only dropped him to fourth ahead of Sleny Goyer.
A shout out to Moritz Ernecker who broke his leg at the Junior World Championship but is already back in action and finished thirteenth!
Race Two: Bauer got the holeshot and controlled things at the front of the field. He brought home another race win to clinch the championship a round early. It’s been a dream year for the Austrian doing the double – he’s junior world champion as well as EMX125 champion – congratulations!
Goyer had a much better ride in the second race brining home second with Utech having a great battle with Ziemer. Ziemer passed the Italian but then on the last lap Utech made a move stick to finish in third and secure his first EMX125 podium.
