Romain Febvre put in a very fast lap at the beginning of the qualifying session and it looked like no one would get close but Jeffrey Herlings had another ideas. Herlings set his fastest time to oust Febvre on lap nine as those two were the only riders in the 1.43’s.
Jeremy Van Horebeek took his best qualifying on the season on the Factory Beta to put in the fifth fastest time. After getting stretched off track last week in Germany, Prado could only put in the seventeenth fastest time.
