During qualifying at the opening round of the 2022 Spanish Championship there were no surprises in the MX1 class as Jeffrey Herlings won the qualifying race ahead of fellow countryman, Brian Bogers. The best of the rest was Ander Valentin who edged out the experienced Carlos Campano.
In the MX2 class, Samuel Nilsson who is preparing for his rookie season in the MX2 World Championship after signing with Racestore KTM took the qualifying race win ahead of EMX250 duo Guillem Farres Plaza and Gerard Congost.
The main races will take place tomorrow.
