Prado on Jett’s perfect season

Jorge Prado, the first man to beat Jett Lawrence all season outdoors, comments on Jett’s perfect season in the States but feels it would be harder to do it in MXGP with the rougher tracks and tougher competition.

“He did a very good season. 22-0, even if you are better than the rest, to not make a mistake it’s difficult. But the competition? It’s different in Europe. Some of the guys were not racing outdoors, I’m not saying he wouldn’t do that if the rest were there, maybe he would still beat everyone.”

“When I see videos of him in the US, it looks like a lot of flow, yeah, but do that in Teutschenthal, you know? That’s different. In Europe you don’t have that flow, because it’s rough.”
