MX1 race results: Dutch Masters RD3 – Febvre wins Markelo

In the first race, Jeffrey Herlings had problems on lap one which meant he had to come from last. At the front, Josh Gilbert was leading the way. Romain Febvre didn’t take long to get into the lead and pull away to dominate. Vlaanderen ended up second as he continues his good form with Herlings coming through to third.

Things were more straight forward for Herlings in moto two as he got a better start and it didn’t take him long to pull away at the front. This time it was Febvre who had to come through the pack and he was able to recover to second ahead of Vlaanderen. Herlings did enough to win the title.
