Joel Rizzi is really coming of age this year as he got a good start in the first moto and ran away with things at the front. A very impressive ride. Jack Chambers and Cas Valk didn’t get the best of starts but the American DRT Kawasaki rider worked his way into second.

Valk was coming through the pack nicely and had actually passed Chambers but then made a mistake so he ended up fourth behind Taylor Hammal. The experienced Tommy Searle ended up sixth ahead of Dylan Walsh and Joe Brookes in a good MX2 field.

Chambers took a much better start in the second moto to make things easier for himself and quickly got to the front. Valk got a better start than he did in the first moto but still had some passes to make but the Dutch talent was flying. He even caught Chambers and went for the race win but the America held on to go 2-1 to take the overall.

Searle had a better ride for third ahead of Walsh. Rizzi didn’t get a good start and had to fight through the pack but did well to come through to fifth to end up second overall.
