Race One: There was only a second to separate Mewse and Herlings when the first race was red flagged which give Mewse the win. The pair were 45 seconds ahead of third after seven laps to show the pace they were settling. Purdon was strong in third with Todd fourth and Barr rounding out the top five. We believe it was James Cottrell who crashed and why the race was red flagged but he got back up on his feet and appears to be okay.
The second moto’s have been cancelled, the following update was posted via the organisers:
Racing impacted by rider and spectator welfare, no further racing will take place. Trade and catering will remain open until the last spectator leaves site. Podium for race one will commence in 30 minutes.
