Michele Cervellin joins SDM Corse Fantic – coach

Due to ongoing and lengthy wrist problems, Michele Cervellin recently announced that he would be stepping away from racing at a professional level.

The Italian will be staying in the sport though which is good news.

Cevellin has been hired by the SDM Corse Fantic team to be the team’s rider coach for the 2024 season.

The move will see Cervellin work with three young talents who will be racing the EMX125 series with the team – Simone Mancini, Noel Zanocz and Douwe Van Mechgelen.

In his first role as a rider coach, Cervellin will be hoping to have a good influence on the young talented riders he’ll be working with.

SDM Corse Fantic revealed the news in the announcement below:

After making his debut in the MXGP class on our bikes, we are happy to announce the new collaboration with Michele Cervellin. Michele, after being a rider, will take the role of Coach of our young riders and will make all his experience as an international level rider available to them.
