Lawrence v Lawrence – East/West shootout time!

Not only is it the next installment of a three-way title 450 supercross title fight in East Rutherford, but it is also the first of two East/West shootout races with Hunter Lawrence not only having the chance of securing his first ever pro title but also going head-to-head against his brother Jett, as the two Lawrence brothers, the class of their respective coasts, get ready to battle for family bragging rights amongst the high dollar championship stakes.

Hear from both stylish technician’s below as they get ready to face-off for the first time in 2023.

Of course, the other big deal for HRC Honda is the win by Chase Sexton last weekend that has given him a ray of hope in the 450 series. Now 17 points down on Eli Tomac and 11 down on Cooper Webb with four rounds to go. Sexton, if he wins out, will have a big shot at this title but he has to be perfect from here and hope that Tomac doesn’t finish second each time out but, Sexton has won in East Rutherford before and, intriguingly, it is not the location for Eli Tomac’s best results.

Cooper Webb, who will be determined to at least beat Eli even if he can’t win the race to get the gap back to under five points in order to get some essential series momentum and control back , along with Chase Sexton, will be hoping that Eli’s historical woes continue tomorrow night in New Jersey.
