Lapucci explains why he’s racing a 250 two-stroke in MXGP!

Nicholas Lapucci has explained why he will race the 250 two-stroke Fantic in the premier class of MXGP in 2022. A decision that has proved immensely popular with the fans.

Lapucci told us: “It was a decision between me and Fantic, I have a special feeling with the bike and I think we can be competitive in some races of MXGP. This motivate me even more, I’m excited and I can’t wait to debut in Mantova.”

Yes, unfortunately for British fans, Lapucci won’t be in action this weekend as he gets himself fully fit after a shoulder injury, but the decision to remain on the machine that he won the EMX250 title on last year, seems to have excited Lapucci as much as the fans who will get to see an exciting rider on a two-stroke machine back in the highest level of the sport, week-in, week-out.

Make sure to give him an extra cheer at the GP you are attending!
