Matti Jorgensen landed into an unlucky Bar X Suzuki staff member at Hangtown in shocking scenes. Unfortunately, Tyler Mickelson broke both legs in the incident and a GoFundme page has been set-up to help hos recovery.

One of our own had some issues at hangtown 2024 this weekend, my good friend Tyler Mickelson , crew chief for the Bar X Suzuki team, was walking up the backside of the”big Moe” jump at hangtown and a rider jumped completely off of the track and directly into Tyler.
This resulted in both legs being broken, but thankfully nothing more serious than that as it could have been much worse.
It’s a grind to do what these guys do and be at the races every weekend, and with both legs broken, Tyler isn’t going to be able to do much at the track for a while!
We need to do right as the moto community and come together to raise money for Tyler’s medical expenses and his loss of work for an unknown amount of time.
This is a guy that does everything he can to help those around him, and now it’s our turn to return the favor!
