Jef Janssen joins forces with German based team Schmicker Racing

Team owner Marko Schmicker is very delighted to announce a new line up for the 2023 season after a great 2022 season which resulted in a 85 and 125 German Championship title.

Marko Schmicker:
I am very happy with the progress we made in our first year and of course we want to become better and a more professional in the future. For this next step we welcomed our long time friend, Jef Janssen who is well known from the Jimmy Joe Riding Factory. Jef will take care about our Racing Team and as we know him he will be fully committed to do this job and that’s what we like to see. It is great that we now have a official support from KTM and that we can work even more professional with Jef onboard.

For 2023 the team will line up in the German Championships, ADAC MX Masters, EMX125 , EMX250, EMX Open and MX2 GP’s. It will be a long and filed season which the team are looking forward.

Jef Janssen:

For me it is a great opportunity after several Years with Yamaha Riders to work with these younger generation kids on the KTM’s. We have a lot of work to do but so far everybody does their job with full motivation and that’s the most important thing to achieve our goals as a Team.
