Jay Hague steps away from pro racing

Jay Hague once had a lot of promise in the MX world and even had a ride with Steve Dixon at the start of his pro career. Since then he has focused on the British Championships but Hague has announced he will now step away from pro racing.

Hague posted the following update on his social media page:

“Well it’s time for me to take a step back from the sport I love, it’s not going to be easy and it’s been a hard decision but competing at a high level is taking its toll, with injury’s and also financial side of it. It is time to put my daughter and health first”.

“Just want to say a huge thank you to the whole Phoenix Even Strokes Kawasaki family for been so understanding and having patience in waiting for my decision, also thanks to my family and friends and mechanic for the support especially in the second half of this year. Finally to everyone who has helped me over the years the list is to big but you know who you are it’s much appreciated, peace out”.
