Due to ongoing illness, Jason Meara has confirmed that he has decided to pull out of this years Motocross Des Nations event heading to RedBud at the end of September.
Stuart Edmonds is the first reserve so is expected to fill his shoes in America.
“Unfortunately I’ve had to withdraw from the MXON this year, this is not a decision I have taken lightly, I am absolutely heartbroken not to be able to represent my country in USA! But I am a team player and I know that I would not have been able to do my job properly with an ongoing illness that I picked up about 4 weeks ago. Thankfully I am feeling much better now but with 4 weeks off the bike leading up to the biggest event of the year I would not be on top form! Best off luck to the 3 guys going and I know they will do is proud”, Meara stated on social media.
