Harri Kullas rode his first AMA National of the season at Hangtown National and finished thirteenth overall on a stock bike.

The first moto Kullas got a bad start but came through from outside the top twenty to fifteenth – strong! He backed that up by finishing thirteenth in race two but with better starts he has the potential for even better results.

Kullas now heads back to Brazil this weekend but he’ll return to America to race High Point for round four of the series.

“15-13 for 13th overall. Not a really bad but not super satisfied with the result also. First race, I got a good jump but got pushed wide at the corner and came back from around 25 to 15. Second race got a better start and rode around 13 the whole race was catching up the guys in front but lost the brakes half way through the race”.

“Still don’t feel 100% confident on the bike to give that extra push when needed. Also need to realise that not many guys change tires in between races. Next weekend back to Brazil for 5th and 6th round of Brazilian Championship. Then back to 🇺🇸 for High Point. Thanks for everyone who supported me in the US journey”.
