There was a lot of excitement for the opening round of the French Elite series kicking off this weekend at Lacapelle Marvial.
However, due to bad weather conditions, the opening round of the series has now been cancelled as per the following statement:
Dear all, we regret to announce that the Lacapelle-Marival event is canceled due to weather conditions.
Thank you for your understanding.
In terms of Motocross events in Europe there is still the Hawkstone International and the second round of the Spanish championship.
Perhaps some riders in the entry list for the opening French Elite will race in the UK or Spain now instead!
It’s a blow for the French fans that would have been excited for the opening round of the French elite with a top entry list.
