Nicky Mannini set the pace during EMX125 free practice in Ernee. Filippo Mantovani was second fastest but less than half a second off the pace.
Cesar Paine Diaz put in a great lap for third with Jarne Bervoets fourth quickest.
Championship leader, Aron Katona rounded out the top five with Dean Gregoire sixth.
Liam Bruneau is back on a 125cc and put in the eighth fastest time ahead of the impressive Charlie Richmond in ninth.
Cole McCullough was thirteenth fastest with Jamie Keith in twenty fifth.
