Fonvieille on qualifying for a Supercross main event: Dream come true

Calvin Fonvieille has been given a brilliant opportunity of racing the AMA Supercross season. The young French talent has been racing the 250SX West Coast series and showing some good things.

At Arlington 3 he was able to qualify for his first main event which he described as a dream come true. He was able to finish nineteenth and pick up plenty of experience which should help him in the future.

“Arlington 3, it was a dream come true. Qualifying for the main event of a Supercross in the United States. The day had started badly though… I had a big crash in Q1 while trying to do a big routine. Big pain in the wrist following that (I specify that it did not bother me for the rest of the evening on the bike). Very good ride in Q2, I went in the 22nd fastest time on the 250cc and 5th time of the group B”, Fonvieille stated on social media.

“Direction the qualifying race, a crazy race! Fighting around the last qualifying places all along the race, I get out of the qualifying clan 1 lap before the end then get the 9th and last qualifying place in the last 2 turns! It was really hot. I went into the final and finished 19th. I am very happy to leave Arlington this way. Once again thanks to @michelcostich from MXMK, @colton815 and @officialspaceportcycles my coach @thibaut_mugnier_tmx_ for the debrief between each session, @sebastienmercey, my team @tmxcompetition, all my partners as well as all the people who helped make this dream come true. Thank you also to everyone for your calls and messages of encouragement”, Fonvieille concluded.
