Filippo Zonta signs with Assomotor Honda

Filippo Zonta has confirmed that he’s landed an opportunity to race the MX2 World Championship for the rest of the seasosn. With Gianluca Facchetti recently parting ways with the team, they had an open slot and have drafted in the Italian.

Zonta has got MX2 GP experience as he contested the season last year but now has a chance back on the Honda.

“Here is the news. I’m glad to announce this new adventure for the season finale. I’ll be racing with Team Assomotor Honda starting this weekend in Germany until the conclusion of the MX2 world championship. I am grateful for the opportunity and I am working to be as much competitive as possible. Let’s make this 250 sing”, Zonta stated on social media.
