Assomotor Honda rider, Gianluca Facchetti, has had surgery on a hand injury injury over the weekend forcing the talented and spectacular Italian to take some time off the bike with the GP season fast approaching. Injuries have hampered Facchetti’s career progression but there is no doubting his talent when he is healthy and he has shown good speed on the Honda in National championship races so far this year.
Facchetti said on social media: “Due to a small hand injury I’m forced to take a break from training. Surgery went well and I can’t wait to be back! Thank you all.”
