Isak Gifting will miss this weekend’s MXGP of Türkiye after being involved in a crash during the final Italian MX1 Championship race of the season at Castiglione del Lago.
The incident resulted in the race being red flagged, with the Swedish rider requiring additional time to recover from the crash. As a result, Gifting and the JK Yamaha team have made the decision to sit out the Afyonkarahisar round, with the focus now on returning to action for the final two rounds of the MXGP World Championship in China and Australia.

The Swedish rider needs more time to recover and together with the team, the decision was made to sit out Afyonkarahisar.
