Confirmed: Ben Almagor stepping up to the EMX250 series in 2025

The 2025 season will be a new challenge for young Israeli rider, Ben Almagor as he will step up and race the 250cc making the move up from the 125cc.

Back in 2022, Almagor started to make the trip over to Europe to contest selected EMX events but this year had plans to contest the entire EMX125 series – injury meant he couldn’t race them all as planned. The level is very high as he is racing against some of the best young talents in the world – not just in Europe. There is no doubt that this year Almagor learned a lot racing all over Europe.

For the 2025 season, Almagor will be staying with the Grizzly Racing who will support him of his new challenge moving up to the EMX250 class. It sees Almagor spend a lot of his time in the Netherlands for the time he is in Europe for. He also gets support from KTM Israel official, D.L.B Motorsport, Fox Israel, Motoline, HGS exhaust system, VHM and WP Suspension.

Almagor still has plans to race a few races back home in Israel but his main focus will be on racing in Europe. Not only will he race the EMX250 series but he’ll also line up at the Dutch Masters of Motocross in the MX2 class. The International Italian Championship will also be on his schedule as well as the Le Touquet event. At the last Le Touquet event, Almagor finished second in the 125cc class and twelfth in the Juniors class.

For the winter preparation, Almagor will be under the watchful eye of John van den Berk in Spain.

“I am working hard and feeling very good on the new KTM SX 250F. In a few weeks I’ll start the winter preparations for the upcoming season with a new chapter with the big boys…”, Almagor told GateDrop.com.
