Young Danish talent Nicolai Skovbjerg has confirmed that he has parted ways with the MX-Handel Husqvarna team despite enjoying an impressive campaign in the EMX250 Championship.
Skovbjerg currently sits third in the EMX250 standings after consistently establishing himself as one of the leading riders in the highly competitive European series. One of the standout moments of his season came in Sardinia, where the Danish rider showcased his ability in the deep sand to secure an overall victory in Riola.
With strong performances and increasing confidence, Skovbjerg has emerged as one of Denmark’s brightest prospects. However, despite the positive results on track, his time with MX-Handel Husqvarna has now come to an end.
We understand that an announcement regarding Skovbjerg’s future could arrive soon, with expectations that he will line up with a new team at this weekend’s ADAC Youngster Cup round at Tensfeld. Eyes will now be on Skovbjerg to see where he lands next as he looks to build on the momentum generated during his impressive EMX250 season.
We’ll bring you the latest on Skovbjerg’s future as soon as his next move is officially confirmed.
Skovbjerg confirmed the news on social media:

I would also like to thank all the teams sponsors, who have supported me along the way. I wish the entire team the very best for the future.
