Kitchen out of A1 – switching to East!

After Triumph pulled Austin Forkner out of the West coast to go East when Jalek Swoll got injured, the West has lost another big name with Levi Kitchen suffering from illness and not able to compete today.

As per the rulebook, because he hadn’t competed in the night show and only did free practice he is eligible for the East coast – which is now stacked.

That Deegan v Forkner v Kitchen hype of West coast didn’t even make it to the night show at the first round – can anyone else stop Deegan out West?

Supercross live tweeted:

“Levi Kitchen is out for A1 due to an illness. Per @PCraceteam, Levi is expected to be moved to the East coast. Since he did not qualify for the race today, he will be eligible.”

Kitchen posted the following update on social media:

Hey everyone. Obviously the news is out already and I’ll be racing the east coast now. I’m on my way to get blood work done now but this was a collective decision between the team and I. At the end of the day I need to do what’s best for my future. See you all at Tampa in a few weeks.

Haiden Deegan was very empathetic about Levi’s situation, posting on his IG story…👀
