In the 450SX second qualifying session, it was Eli Tomac who went fastest yet again edging out Jett Lawrence. Lawrence tried to go for pole on the final lap but made a mistake on the last corner – he was two tenths off. Chase Sexton was only a tenth off in third – the top three are looking strong to start the season. Jason Anderson was fourth fastest with Hunter Lawrence rounding out the top five. Justin Hill again put in a hot lap for sixth. Jorge Prado was eleventh fastest.
In the 250SX, it was Julien Beaumer who took pole – a tenth faster than Deegan! An impressive qualifying session from the KTM rider. Ryder DiFrancesco was third fastest on his GasGas. It’s hard not to be impressed with Cole Davies as he is sixth in the combined times. Anthony Bourdon was seventh which is also strong from the French rider.
