Race One:
Chase Sexton ran down Ken Roczen to take the win in superb style as Eli Tomac faded from third. Ryan Dungey rode great to take fifth as Jason Anderson came through the field for fourth just behind Craig who took third.
Antonio Cairoli had a bad start and not a good first few laps just inside the top ten, losing touch with his rivals but he was in seventh and close to Tomac until he dropped to tenth right at the end with Josh Gilbert a great 12th and even up to tenth at one point!
Race Two:
Chase Sexton won the battle with Ken Roczen to take the second moto victor on a perfect day with Honda going 1-2 overall in both classes to celebrate their 50th anniversary in style in the States! Behind them it was Christian Craig in third from Eli Tomac and a very impressive Ryan Dungey fifth.
Antonio Cairoli didn’t look himself in either moto but hung on for sixth after starting fifth – but maybe he was telling the truth when he said he had only done one 30 minute moto coming into this race!
Jason Anderson had a lot of speed but had to come from the back again after going down in turn two – he got back to eighth.
Josh Gilbert ran sixth on lap one and eventually finished 14th but his speed impressed the Americans even if the commentators weren’t sure who he was!
