Tim Gajser set the pace in MX1 qualifying at Riola Sardo with 450cc rookie, Jago Geerts saving his best lap for the last going second fastest over Ruben Fernandez.
In MX2, Simon Langenfelder set the pace at the front over EMX250 talent, Valero Lata with the returning Hakon Fredriksen third quickest.
Dutch talent, Gyan Doensen was over two seconds faster than anyone in the 125cc with Noel Zanocz second and Cole McCullough flying in third on his first race on the Fantic.
