The World Sidecar series have revealed their provisional calendar for the 2023 season and Northern Ireland is back on the calendar. After previously wanting to run the event at Desertmartin but it then falling through and with no racing currently allowed at the track, a new track will be on the calendar.
A track at Red Brae Park in the Temple/Lisburn area will be built for the event. At this stage it remains to been seen if it will be a permanent track that can also be used for Irish/Ulster racing as well but that would be brilliant news!
The event has been scheduled in for the 21st and 22nd of July.
